A benefit for David Whitsell, who was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in April of this year, has been changed to July 8 and will now be held at Short Go Ministry Arena in Detroit, Texas.
There will be a benefit team roping event (#8 and #12 no cap, 4 header, and progressive after one) with a $50 a man enter up and 50% payback and prizes. Books open at 9 a.m. and roping starts at 10 a.m.
A silent auction will take place throughout the day, starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
For a donation, there will be hamburger plates with chips and a drink.
