North Texas native and creator of “Yellowstone” is looking to cast real-life veterans and first-responders for his newest show “Special Ops: Lioness” Season 2, set to begin production this month in Ft Worth.
Several notices casting for the show has been posted by Legacy Casting, a Texas-based company, on the website MyCastingFile.
Special Ops: Lioness” premiered on Paramount + last year and stars Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman, Laysla De Oliveira and Morgan Freeman.
The show follows a CIA operative (Saldana), who attempts to balance her personal and professional lives as the top of the spear in the agency’s war on terror.
The notices on MyCastingFile call for men and women with military experience to work as background actors on the show.
Per the notice, these actors would portray Mexican border agents, airborne soldiers, ISIS fighters and other military personnel.
These are paid roles with tentative filming dates in Fort Worth in June.
Another casting notice is looking for men and women with real-life law enforcement experience to portray police officers, FBI agents, U.S. Marshals and border patrol agents.

Additionally, Legacy is looking to cast men and women with real-life experience as first responders to portray firefighters, paramedics and EMTs in the show.
