On Saturday Morning, February 17, 2018, at the age of 87, our dear sweet beautiful mother saw Jesus today. Angels were sent down from Heaven to carefully place her into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and reunited with the love of her life. No more pain or suffering, she is now in her heavenly home with her loved ones. At the time of her death Clemmie Faye (Weaver) Ruthart was a resident of the Heritage House in Paris, Texas. Although her husband’s career would take her to reside in Houston, Texas for more than thirty years, she always called Paris, Texas her “home”.

Born to Wilson Mathew “Rick” Weaver and Renie Delpha (Fleming) Weaver on May 18, 1930, in Paris, Texas. The family relocated to Atoka, Oklahoma in 1935 and moved back to Paris, Texas in 1945 where Clemmie Faye “Lady”, “as she was fondly known by her family and friends”, excelled academically and graduated with honors from Midway High School, Class of 1947.

Clemmie Faye “Lady” married her beloved, B. T. Ruthart, on September 13, 1947, at the Lamar County Court House, by Rev. F. E. Lundsford, and witnessed by Weldon Moss and Mary Yancy. “Lady’s Mother told her girls it would be a crying shame if one of her girls didn’t marry one of those perfect “Rutharts”. B.T. and “Lady” were happily married for 68 years, until B.T.’s sudden death in January 2016.

“Lady” and B.T. both dedicated their lives to Jesus in Pastor, James L. Kilgore Church in Houston, Texas. They were members of Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, B.T. driving Bus Routes for Children’s Church and Lady teaching Sunday School. When they retired and moved back “home” to Paris, Texas, they felt right at home with family and friends that attended the United Pentecostal Church and loved Pastor, Robert Myre, and wife Donna.

While living in Houston, Lady had numerous jobs and was a hard worker. When the children were small she took in ironing so she could stay home. Later years she would work at Anchor Hockings Glass Company, Frito Lay Corporation, and GEMCO where she worked in the Cosmetics Department, selling makeup (she didn’t wear makeup but was the top saleslady for her department). She also worked at the United Pentecostal Book Store in Houston and when she retired and moved back to Paris she worked as a “sitter” in Hospitals or in private homes.

“Lady’s” most treasured accomplishments were being a Wife and Mother to her four children, Rodger Ruthart, Delores “Dee” Ruthart
Miguez, Ricky Ruthart, and Will Ruthart. She was very proud of all her children, she loved and was appreciative and knew them until the
end of her life. She spoiled her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren and loved them dearly.

Those gone before “Lady”, and to welcome her home, is her beloved husband B.T., her parents, Wilson “Rick” and Renie Weaver, her siblings, four brothers, Chester Weaver, Zollie Weaver, Joe Weaver and John Weaver and two sisters, Irene Weaver and Charlene Weaver Hudson. Two Grandsons, William Ricky Ruthart, Kenneth Alan Ruthart and countless extended family members and treasured friends.

Those left behind to miss her are her devoted children and their families, Rodger Ruthart and wife, Marlene of Paris, TX: Delores “Dee” Ruthart Miguez and husband, Ronnie of Katy, TX: Ricky Ruthart and wife, Mitzi of Paris, TX; Will Ruthart and wife Sally of Paris, TX: Grandchildren include Rodney Ruthart, Karen Bolton, Kim Ruthart, Laura Ruthart, Lynn Jordan, Chad Ruthart, Randi Ruthart, Dylan Ruthart, Ben Ruthart, Kayla Gibson and Rantz Gibson. Great Grandchildren include Jason Bolton, Destiny Ruthart, Riley Ruthart, Macy Ruthart, Tyler Ruthart, Cheyenne Ruthart, Austin Ruthart, Amanda Janca, and Ashley Thurman along with Great-Great Grandchildren Isaac Bolton, Raymond Thurman, Bristol Ruthart, and Sophia Thurman. “Lady” is also survived by two sisters, Mary Jane Lay, Bernice Griffith and sister in-law Evelyn Weaver along with numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Heritage House of Paris and its staff for the care given their loved one.
