“There’s only one thing more badass than this year’s kickoff. And you’re looking at her!”
She may be nearly as old as the NFL itself, but Betty ‘B-Dog’ White has just made America fall in love with her all over again!
White is featured in a new promo that celebrates the upcoming kickoff game for the 2019 NFL Football Season.
This is also a milestone for the sport as they celebrate their 100th season.
The former ‘Golden Girls’ star hilariously cuts off Sunday Night Football on NBC, starts with commentator Al Michaels standing at a podium, asking if anyone could put the feeling of 100 years of the NFL into words.
That’s when White jumps in, “I can,” as she appears to sit on a throne in all her glory.
The 97-year old national treasure so elegantly shushes Michaels by noting, “B-dog is talking now.”
In pure White form, she runs through the teams who will be marking the milestone on Thursday, Sept. 5: the Green Bay Packers will go head to head with the Chicago Bears at 8:20 p.m. EST at Soldier Field.
