To help its 43 students advancing to the National Beta Competition in Nashville, Tennessee, Prairiland is hosting its annual Country Legends Show and Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, May 7, from 4:30-8:30 p.m.
Country legends who will be impersonated include:
- Ronnie Milsap,
- Roger Miller,
- Ray Stevens,
- Hank Williams Jr.,
- Elvis,
- Conway Twitty,
- Merle Haggard,
- Loretta Lynn,
- Reba,
- Tanya Tucker,
- Carrie Underwood,
- Linda Ronstadt,
- Dottie West,
- Faith Hill,
- Kitty Wells,
- Dolly Parton,
- Minnie Pearl,
- Ray Charles,
- George Jones,
- And many more with a few comedy acts.
This Branson-style show will feature performers dressing in full costume and acting like the originals. There will be a professional band playing the music and some band members are coming from out-of-state to sing and play.
Tickets are $15 apiece or $25 for two. Each ticket includes a spaghetti dinner and show ticket. Tickets will be sold at the door.
A silent auction will be set up alongside a short live auction during intermission.
All proceeds will go toward Prairiland ISD’s Beta club to help pay for the state-winning students to advance to the national Beta Competition this summer.
The spaghetti dinner will be in the High School Gym from 4:30-6 p.m., with the show from 6-8:30 p.m.
