Lamar County Adopt-A-Cop is gearing up for its annual Cops-n-Rodders Car and Bike Show on National Thank a Police Officer Day, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at South Main Iron.
“Proceeds from this event will help us purchase safety equipment for our police and first responders,” Lamar County Adopt-A-Cop President Amanda Willows said.
The Cops ’N Rodders show will be at South Main Iron, 255 1st St SW, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on National Thank A Police Officer Day, Sept. 17.
Willows said there will be a “HUGE silent auction” during the car and bike show.
“We want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all those who have donated items to our silent auction for the Cops N’ Rodders Car & Bike Show, a fundraiser for Lamar County Adopt a Cop,” she said.
During the event, there will be a silent auction, live music, award-winning burgers by The Do Right Boyz, a car and bike show and more. To register for the car and bike show, click here.

There will also be a Donut Eating Contest.
“The donut eating contest will be so much fun,” said Willows.
