Aaron Parker Elementary’s 4th-grade students recently put their scientific minds to the test during the school’s highly anticipated annual Science Fair. The event was filled with excitement as students displayed an impressive range of projects that combined curiosity, research, and creativity.
This year’s competition was fierce, with five students earning top honors for their innovative and well-researched projects:
- 1st Place: Reed Smallwood — “Does Money Buy Distance?”
- 2nd Place: Jaxon Cole — “Dragon Slayer Catapult”
- 3rd Place: Raylan Smith — “Cleanest Mouth in the House”
- 4th Place: Levi Smith — “Holy Bacteria”
- 5th Place: Addilynne Carter — “Sound Frequency”
Reed Smallwood and Jaxon Cole will take their projects to the next level, advancing to the Regional Science Fair on January 30. Their hard work and innovative thinking have earned them the chance to compete against students from across the region, representing Aaron Parker Elementary with pride.
The annual Science Fair serves as a platform for students to develop problem-solving skills, apply the scientific method, and showcase their creativity. Teachers and staff at Aaron Parker Elementary were proud to see the students’ hard work and perseverance on display.
