James W. Shelton passed away in Paris, Texas in the early morning hours of August 21, 2026.
James was born in Columbus, Mississippi to parents, Boman T. Shelton and Ellen O Sanderfer Shelton. He joined the US Air Force as soon as possible and made a career of serving his country. James married Carol Brown and the couple had over 60 years of marriage at the time of his passing.
