Pamela Ann Nicholson was born July 23, 1964, in Paris, Texas, to parents Thomas and Hazel Nicholson. She attended North Lamar Schools and was a lady with a very kind heart.
Pam never left the house or even her room without full hair and make-up. She visited the tanning booth every weekday. She loved her grandbabies, and they called her Nanny.
Pam met her partner, Bill, before birth. Their parents were best friends, so Bill and Pam grew up together, but they didn’t make it official until 2015.
She leaves behind her partner, Bill Person; children, Robert McCarver of Paris, Texas, Christi Applegate of Paris, Texas; brother, Jimmy Hale; grandchildren, Dakota Lindsey, whom she raised from a toddler, Michael Applegate, Mizak Applegate, and 3 others; great-grandchildren, her favorite, Roper Wayne Lindsey, Zoey Lindsey; her favorite uncle, Johnny Hale of Chicota; Four special friends, Mack and Krystal Smith of Brookston, and Miranda and Keiley Mahon; as well as several nieces, cousins and many more.
Visitation will be held at Fry Gibbs Funeral Home on Monday, August 10 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 11 at 3:00 PM at Fry Gibbs. Burial will follow at Little John Cemetery.
