Douglas Elmore Bowman, 87, passed away April 9, 2026 at his residence. He was born on September 13, 1938 in Biardstown a son of Paul and Claudia Marie Roddy Bowman. He was a retired trucker and served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his spouse, Lorene Roberts Bowman; sons, Michael Bowman, Brandon Bowman, and Paul Bowman; daughter, Pamela McGrody and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Randy Bowman, his parents, and brothers, Bill Bowman and John Paul Bowman.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
