Charlotte Francine Murray, 71, of Paris, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026, at her home while surrounded by family.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 15th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Myre officiating. Burial will be made in McDonald Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 – 8 pm.
Mrs. Murray, the daughter of Clarkie Curley Miller and Frances Pearl Sturdivant Miller, was born Dec. 18, 1954, in Paris, TX.
She worked a number of years at Hollywood Vassarette, and when the plant became Paris Industries she continued with the company. Later, Hollywood Vassarette re-opened, and she worked there several years. Following those years, she began working at CEFCO where she remained until retirement. Charlotte was a member of the VFW.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Brook Lester, and a sister, Tammie Turk.
Survivors include her son, Jim Lester, Jr. and wife Alicia, a granddaughter, Katie Pool and husband Aaron, three great grandchildren, Brooklyn Pool, Leyton Pool, and Ryleigh Pool, a niece, Felicia Sisson and husband Rickey, two great nieces, Haley Sisson and Victoria Moore, and a great nephew, Braeden Sisson along with a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Rickey Sisson, Braeden Sisson, Sammy Stansbury, Aaron Pool, Bill Smith and Victoria Moore. Honorary bearers will be: Wesley Freeland and Geoffrey Smith.
