Susan Yvonne Price, age 65, passed away on March 29, 2026, at Paris Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 10, 1960, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paris, Texas.
Susan was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Seth Logan Price and his spouse, Hannah Price; and her cherished granddaughter, Sydney Louise Price. She is also survived by her siblings: Steven Price and wife Lisa Price; Stacey Wilson and husband Steve Wilson; Scott Price and wife Dawn Price; Sherry Kuhl and husband Ernie Kuhl; Samuel Price; and her sister by choice, Sue Ann Johnson. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who brought her great joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lois J. Price and Henry L. Price, as well as both sets of her grandparents.
Susan had a passion for crafting and sewing, and she found joy in collecting anything pink—a color that became a signature of her vibrant personality. Known affectionately by many as “Pinky,” she was recognized for her dedication and strong work ethic. She believed deeply that anything worth doing was worth doing right, a principle she carried throughout her life. Her Christian faith was an important foundation, guiding her values and the way she cared for others.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with a memorial service to follow from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Susan’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Lamar County Humane Society, or Scouting America Troop 2 in Paris, Texas—organizations that were meaningful to her.
In tribute to Susan’s love for the color pink, and in honor of her nickname “Pinky,” attendees are encouraged to wear something pink to the service.
Susan’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and her legacy of hard work, faith, and love for family will never be forgotten.
