It’s a bargain hunters dream —over 400 miles of yard sales on one stretch of road held over two days.
The Spring Hwy 82/287 Yard Sale will be held on June 6 & 7 with yard sales, garage sales, sidewalk sales, farmers markets, and flea marketing in participating communities along the Hwy. 82 and Hwy. 287 corridors and beyond.
While yard sales can be found anywhere along Hwy. 82/287, many towns and/or Chambers of Commerce have lists of registered yard sales in each community to make it easier for those wanting to shop.
“If your community wants to participate in the garage sales, please submit your information for the Red River Valley Tourism Association for advertising purposes,” said the RRVTA.
The event is not just for yard sales but also farmers markets, trade days, flea markets, arts/craft show, retail shops, antique stores, and/or any businesses that have sidewalk sales.
