Clay shooters get ready as Lamar County Young Life is set to host their ‘Sporting Clay Shoot’ on Saturday, August 17.
The day will run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A five-man team will see a $500 entry fee, which includes 100 clays, a t-shirt, and lunch.
“Shooters must provide their own gun, shells, and eye protection,” said event organizers.
Before the event kicks off on Saturday morning, Friday evening there will be a family fish fry held at local restaurant Fish Fry located at 3500 NE Loop 286 in Paris.
The cost will be $20 per plate and children under 13-years old eat FREE. There will also be a band, bounce house, and dessert auction.
