United Way of Lamar County Launches Annual Fall Campaign

The United Way of Lamar County has officially started the Annual Fall Campaign to raise money for our community.

The goal this year is $500,000 which has already been allocated to 25 local partner agencies serving Lamar County.

This year’s Campaign Chair is Steve Hyde, CEO of Paris Regional Medical Center. Other members of the Campaign Cabinet include Commercial Division Co-Chairs, Brenda Wells and Kristen Strunc; Government Division Co-Chairs Paris PD Chief Bob Hundley and Assistant DA Kelsey Doty; Healthcare Division Co-Chairs James Hall and Corey Fagan, Industry Division Co-Chairs Greg Wilson and Jason Exum as well as Paula White, HWH chair; Clint Cheatwood, Kimberly-Clark Chair; and in the School Division Kenneth Webb, PJC; Carla Coleman, NL ISD; Tommy Chalaire, Chisum ISD and Jeff Ballard, Prairiland ISD.

Jenny Wilson, Executive Director of the United Way of Lamar County, stated “We are so grateful to all the volunteers who work tirelessly to help us reach our goal! I also want to thank all the donors who give each and every year, their investment in this community is greatly needed and appreciated!”

The Campaign Kick-Off  will be held on Saturday, September 14th at Paris Ford Lincoln at 2pm and will include the Annual Agency Karaoke event.  From 11am-2pm Paris Ford will be hosting  Drive 4UR Community.  The United Way of Lamar County will receive $20 for every test drive up to $6,000.  Free corn dogs will be provided by Sonic Drive-In and Rue 82 will be playing on stage.
