Two Bonham police officers have been placed on administrative after DPS and Texas Rangers notified the department on July 18, 2023, that they were the subject of a criminal investigation.
“Both officers have been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal and internal investigation,” said Bonham Chief of Police Andrew Hawkes.
Because it is an on-going investigation, no further information is available at this time.
“The Bonham Police Department has a commitment to excellence and is working with the Texas Rangers on the investigation.”
