DETROIT-Red River County first responders were called to a structure fire in Detroit just after 5 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.
LifeNet ambulance, Detroit and Clarksville Fire Department, and Sheriffs Office all attended the incident.
An official on scene confirmed a home became fully engulfed, and there were multiple victims involved. The extent of injuries is unknown at this stage. There was one minor care flighted to Dallas for burns. Four others were transported to a hospital for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this stage; the Sheriff’s department has roped off the area.
