A man stabbed in Bogata over the weekend, local law enforcement make a successful arrest.
After an alleged verbal argument between two men, one is left dead while the other was arrested on alleged stabbing charges.
It is believed that the alleged attack occurred on the evening of Dec 27 at 9:20 p.m. Johnny Goforth a 38-year old Bogata man was arrested on Dec 28 with a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The altercation took place at 510 South Howison St. in Bogata according to reports.
John David Brown was identified as the victim by Bogata Police Department.
Bogata PD is still investigating all aspects of the incident.
Goforth is still remanded in custody as of Dec 31, with no bail amount posted according to online arrest records.
