More peanut butter products are being voluntarily recalled as a direct result of the Jif® Peanut Butter recall.
Albanese Confectionery Group has issued a voluntary recall on Albanese® Mini and Giant Peanut Butter Cups because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
According to the recall, the products were distributed nationwide and reached consumers through select retail stores. The products were sold in bulk.
Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
Customers who purchased the above listed product with the associated lot are urged to destroy the product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
