PRMC welcomes first baby born in 2022, delivers 877 babies in 2021

Meet Willow, a beautiful baby girl Paris Regional Medical Center said was the first baby born at the hospital for 2022.

Willow was born at 9:55 a.m. on January 1, 2022, and weighed 5 pounds 13 ounces and was 18 inches in length.

“Congratulations to her proud mom and dad who took home not only a new baby girl, but a basket full of baby essentials graciously donated by our friends at Paris Baby. @parisbabytx,” said the hospital online.  

The Maternity Ward at PRMC kept busy last year with a total of 877 babies born in 2021.

“2021 was a busy year for our Women’s and Children’s Services team! They closed out the year with 877 total deliveries and 887 total babies, including 8 sets of twins. Shout out to this crew for all of their hard work.”
