Prairiland FFA judging teams competed at the Area VI CDE Contest held at TAMU-Commerce on April 12.
The Floriculture and Vet Science teams advanced to state and will be competing this week.
Floriculture will compete at Sam Houston State University and Vet Science will be competing at Texas A&M University.
Floriculture Team- 3rd place at Area out of 38 teams and is advancing to state. Joni Figueroa-3rd high individual and Julianna Hamill was 8th high individual. Team members L to R- Julianna Hamill, Catherine Griffin, Makalah True, and Joni Figueroa.
Vet Science Team- 3rd place at Area out of 41 teams and is advancing to state. Amber Rowland-9th high individual. Team Members- Amber Rowland, Mikenna Rubright, Jessica Francis, and Laken Dawson.
Nursery Landscape Team- 6th place at area and Randee Maull was 10th high individual. Team Members L to R- Annie Moore, Randee Maull, Imaria Dennis, and Keeley Webb.
