After qualifying on November 6, 2023 at the district contest, nine Prairiland FFA Chapter Leadership Development Event teams will compete at the Area 6 FFA Leadership Development Event Contest on November 15, 2023 in Marshall, Texas.
In the Senior Skills Demonstration contest, Addison Mayes, Ally Stapleton, Emma Allison and Scout Nation came in first place advancing to the area contest.
Ally Stapleton, Emma Allison, Lydia Williams, Vanessa Anderson, and Scout Nation competed in the Agriculture Advocacy Contest and placed first as a team and will be advancing to the area contest.
The following students took first place in the Senior Chapter Conducting contest and will be advancing to the area contest: Laken Dawson, Aubree Phillips, Randee Maull, DJ Ledbetter, Addison Bulls, and Karlie Harp.
The Greenhand Quiz team, consisting of Hallie Boggs, Ty Harris, Jaidyn Smith, Adalyn Hagood, and Ashton Neal, placed first and will advance to the area competition.
Darianny Iguaran competed in Senior Spanish Creed and placed second in her event and will be advancing to the area contest.
Anabell Hoskins, Haley Maldanado, and Jera Johnson competed in Radio Broadcasting and placed second overall, advancing to the area contest.
Laken Dawson, Bailee Taylor, Karlie Harp, and Addison Bulls competed on the Senior Quiz Team and took second place in their event and will be competing in the area contest.
Anabell Hoskins competed in Greenhand Creed Speaking and placed third overall and will be advancing to the area contest
Aubree and Jack Phillips, Emmie Anderson, and Kinsey McCulloch competed in the Public Relations Contest and placed third and will be competing in the area contest also.
Sam Anderson competed in Job Interview and Lydia Williams competed in Senior Creed Speaking.
