Dr. Jack Brown, biomedical sciences coordinator and faculty member at Paris Junior College, gave a presentation to the Texas Master Naturalists on Tuesday, April 16.
He covered the “Big Picture” on the biological meaning of life, overview of geological time and past extinction events, human activities affecting ecosystems and biodiversity, the great acceleration event, and the debate over creating a new epoch…the Anthropocene.
