Load the family up and head on down to Trail de Paris this Saturday, April 13th, for ‘Trail Fest’ hosted by the Northeast Texas Trail Coalition.

The event will consist of a fun family bike ride, live music, tasty food from local vendors, and giveaways which include a drawing for a T-shirt & a specialized 24” 7-speed bicycle.

The first 100 participants will also receive a set of bike lights. The event goes from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Love Civic Center Pavilion and is free to the public.

A bike registration station will be posted by the Paris Police Dept. and there will also be bike safety check stations.

Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Bicycle helmets are strongly encouraged.

In addition to the Paris Trail Fest, the Trail de Paris Bird and Nature Walk will also be hosted by Northeast Texas Trail Coalition on the same day, April 13th, at 8 a.m. until 9 a.m.

See and learn about local birds, wildlife, plants, and insects on our beautiful Trail de Paris.

Nature Walk begins at the PJC Noyes Stadium parking lot on 24th SE Street. Wear comfortable shoes and bring binoculars if you have them.

Now, if these two events aren’t enough to get you excited, then perhaps the Trail de Paris Trail Fest free yoga class from 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. will.

Kick-off the 2019 trail season with a free yoga class, led by Jenny Wilson. All ages and abilities are welcome!

The Trail de Paris Yoga Park is located just west of the intersection of the Trail and 12th SE Street. Parking is available at 12th SE and at PJC Noyes Stadium within easy walking distance.

Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat or towel and a bottle of water.
