Last month, 7-year old Cooper Bell was involved in a horrific ATV accident that resulted in multiple broken bones on top of serious injuries sustained.

“Cooper has been in a hospital in Dallas since the accident on July 27th,” said the family, “he broke his femur, has extremely damaged muscles, and has had multiple surgeries.”

The family said he will most likely be in the hospital for a while.

“Cooper just now got out of his surgery. A bit good news. They actually did, what can be considered a temporary skin graft, its actual donor skin, which helped tie things together. If this takes well, they will remove it and they will do the Integra Graft next week. If all goes well, it will be a whole week before his next surgery. We are praying for no infection in this procedure and a good wee to come. Thank you all for continued support and prayers” his mom Stacie Cooper said on August 7.

Now the community is rallying behind the youngster with a benefit set to help his family ensure they have only Cooper’s recovery to concentrate on.

The upcoming benefit, ‘Helping Cooper Bounce Back’, will see proceeds raised go towards helping offset medical expenses, alongside the costs of having to be away from home and work.

The event is expected to be a fun-filled day!

Admission will be $10 each, 5-years old and under are FREE

Admission is $10 and will get you a hamburger prepared by Burgerland, a bag of chips, and tea or water.
