A member of the Paris Public Library’s Advisory Board resigned and the city hopes to fill the position at its soonest possible time.
Members of the Paris Public Library Advisory Board are required to be City of Paris residents, understand library affairs and have “a strong interest in library operations, as well as exhibit a genuine appreciation of books.”
The board member will act in advisory with the city council to study and make recommendations about library services, maintenance and capital improvement projects.
Regular meeting days are the third Wednesdays at 4 p.m. in the library’s gallery.
