On Thursday, September 21 at 11:01pm; Paris Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 1200
block of NW 7th street for a speeding violation. The passenger identified herself as Kasey
Ward. One Officer recognized the passenger as 35-year-old Angel Dawn Reaves from prior
contacts and knew her to have active felony warrants. Due to Reaves having active warrants
and giving a false name and a false date of birth; Reaves was placed under arrest for Failure
to Identify Fugitive Intentionally Give False Information, Lamar County Felony WarrantManufacturing Delivery Controlled Substance PG1<1G, SJF and Paris PD Felony WarrantManufacturing and Delivering a Controlled Substance PG 1-B >= 4G<200G Repeat Offender.
The driver was released on scene.
