On Oct. 25 at 1:37 a.m., an officer responded to a Security Check in the 1900 block of Lamar Avenue. It was reported that a vehicle there had occupants that were possibly selling narcotics. The occupants, Misty Michelle Zornow and Bradley Joe Ransom, were detained and a consensual search of the vehicle was performed. Narcotics were found in the vehicle. Further narcotics were found on the ground where the two suspects were standing during the search. Both were charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and placed in jail.
On Oct. 24 at 9:37 a.m., officer stopped a vehicle in the 2600 block of Lamar for expired registration. The driver identified himself as Elster Dean but claimed to have no ID on his person. The officer could find no records for “Dean” but after running the tag and performing some follow up research located a photograph for the registered owner of the vehicle and positively identified the driver as Marc Anthony Wynn. Wynn was wanted on a Burglary warrant from another county. He was arrested for Failure to ID as a Fugitive from justice as well as the burglary charge. He was arrested an placed in jail.
