Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 5:50pm: After a Paris Police Officer took a Criminal Trespass and Felony Stalking Report on Saturday; in the 100 block of SE 17th Street; four days later; another Paris Officer was dispatched to a new disturbance call. The suspect had returned to the scene; kicked in the door; and told the home owner that she was going to kill him. Officer made contact with 20-Year-Old Sharia Dannelle Huff of Paris, in front of the residence, and observed her to be extremely irate. Huff was arrested and booked into the Paris Jail for an outstanding Burglary of Habitation Warrant out of Red River County. After review video footage from this call; Huff was additionally charged with Burglary of Habitation with Intend of Other Felony.
Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 1:47am: Paris Police Officer initiated a traffic stop on a two occupant vehicle for expired registration in the 1500 block of North Main Street. One occupant returned wanted for a Class C traffic violation and admitted to having drug paraphernalia in her jacket pocket. A probable cause search of the vehicle and 53-Year-Old Jason Thad Greer of Paris was made. Greer was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance; after a meth pipe and a clear baggie with a clear crystal like substance, testing positive for methamphetamine was located in his pocket. Both subjects were booked into the Paris Jail.
Wednesday, March 29, 2023 am: The Paris Police Department responded to 78 Calls for Service and arrested 3 adult persons.
