On June 27, a Paris PD officer made contact with Priscilla Ann McCall (44) in the 1400 block of E. Price Street. McCall was in a known area for narcotics trafficking. When the officer made contact with McCall he noted that she was nervous and seemed to have trouble answering basic questions. During the questioning McCall told the officer she was in possession of Methamphetamine. She turned over the narcotics to the officer and was placed under arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance. She was processed without incident.
On June 26, a report of a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle was received in the 1300 block of Clarksville St. The victim had left their key’s in their vehicle and the vehicle was unlocked. An unknown suspect entered the vehicle and stole a leather backpack containing 2 purses and a coin collection. The victim reported a value of $50,000.00 for the collection. The investigation of the incident is ongoing.
On June 27, Officers responded to the 500 block of Johnson’s Wood Drive at approximately 05:30. A homeowner had been alerted to an intruder in the residence by a family dog. The homeowner had observed an individual in the kitchen of the residence and fired one shot with a handgun. The suspect had fled the scene. The homeowner was unsure how the suspect entered the residence and no forced entry was evident. The case is ongoing.
