On June 23, Officers arrested Jackie Joe Jones (74) of Paris in the 300 block of Clement Road on a warrant for Probation Violation DWI 3rd or More. Jones was booked without incident.
On June 23, Officers were notified of an accident in the 2500 block of Old Bonham Road in which the driver was attempting to leave the scene. They arrived and found that a pickup truck had struck a utility pole at the location causing significant damage. The driver of the truck, Nathan Kyle Yearwood (27) was found to be intoxicated. Yearwood had an eight year old child in the vehicle with him when he had the accident. Yearwood was charged with: DWI with child under 15 in vehicle, Abandon/Endanger Child, Criminal Mischief X 2.
Officers made 53 traffic stops, 4 adult arrest, and answered 361 calls for service for this reporting period.
