Chisum ISD graduates Reagan Frey and Sophia Rhea and Paris ISD graduate Katherine Mathieu were honored during the Texas Rural Education Association (TREA) Scholarship Banquet in Round Rock on Monday.
The three local graduates were among 25 students recognized for their outstanding achievements with student scholarships.
“Chisum ISD is proud of you ladies and very excited to see what great things you do in the future. Congratulations and job well done,” said Chisum ISD.
Mathieu was also chosen to be one of five students on a panel to be interviewed by superintendents.
“She did an outstanding job,” said Paris ISD. “She is a special young lady that will do amazing at Yale.”
