Thurs. Dec. 26, 2024, at 3:37am; a Paris Officer activated his marked patrol unit’s overhead emergency lights and audible siren to initiate a stop on a vehicle in the 700 Block of Graham Street for a non-functioning brake light. The vehicle continued traveling for approximately 6 city blocks, with the patrol unit following with active lights and siren, before coming to a stop at the intersection of NW 12th Street and West Cherry Street. Driver, 24-year-old Cameron Isaiah Harrison was placed under arrest for Evading Arrest/Detention/with a Vehicle, a Third-Degree Felony. Harrison was additionally arrested for a Dallas County SO Warrant-Fail to Identify Give False Info and was booked into the Paris Jail.
