Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 11:31am: Paris Dispatch received a call from Paris Regional Health Center advising that an unknown male subject was in the Emergency Room with a stab wound. Paris Officer responded to the location and met a 24-Year-Old male victim. The victim was very reluctant to give any information other than unknown subjects had attempted to rob him. The victim stated that he did not want to press charges. The on-call investigator was notified.
Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 10:50pm: Paris Police Officer stopped a vehicle in the 1500 block of Lamar Avenue for a defective brake light. Front passenger, 36-Year-Old Charlcey Lee Pomroy of Lamar County had an outstanding Parole Violation-Manufacture Deliver Controlled Substance-Dangerous Drugs Warrant. Pomroy was additional charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for being in possession of a baggie of crystalline substance, testing positive for methamphetamine. Pomory was booked into the Paris Jail.
Wednesday, April 5, 2023: The Paris Police Department responded to 77 Calls for Service; arrested 2 adult persons and made 21 traffic stops.
