Paris FFA students recently got a “hands-on” farm/ranch experience, participating in AI-ing over 100 head of cattle, as well as learning about irrigation, crop production and more.
“Learning to do STUFF doing to learn STUFF,” said Paris FFA Chapter online. “Thank you John Purviance, Brad Jones, and Woodland Ag for letting us come out and experience the day.”
Students not only participated in AI-ing over 100 head of cattle but they learned first-hand how EPDs and selective semen straw make an impact on the beef industry.
“They also learned about irrigation, crop production, and the efficiency of having their own crops to product feed.”
Students were treated to lunch and then got to go fishing afterwards.
“Memories to last a lifetime. Great day to be a wildcat.”
