Pumpkins to carve, pumpkins to paint, pumpkins to decorate somewhere quaint as the Paris Downtown Pumpkin Patch is set to open Oct. 9 to 31.
According to Bridget Domengeaux, recreation supervisor, pumpkins start at $3 and go up. While the pumpkin patch is open, children may paint a pumpkin. Paint supplies and trimmings to decorate pumpkins will be available. Domengeaux said the pumpkin lady will be at the Paris Downtown Pumpkin Patch on Oct. 9.
The pumpkin patch is in need of school organizations looking for community service hours, and individuals or companies who would like to volunteer. To volunteer or sign up for a school organization, contact Bridget Domengeaux at 903-784-9299 or 903-517-0724.
From Oct. 9 to Halloween, the Pumpkin Patch will be open every Monday thru Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m.-6 p.m. at the downtown burnout at 120 S. Main St.
