Oreo and Ritz team up for limited-time cookie and cracker sandwich
Step aside, Pretzel M&Ms, there’s a new salty but sweet treat in town…well, for a limited time.
Oreo and Ritz, both owned by Mondelez International, have teamed up for a collab that no one expected — RITZ X OREO.
“50% sweet, 50% salty, 100% 🙂 1000 packs. Available 5/26 at 12pm ET. Be there or be salty. #RITZxOREO,” said the company on Twitter.
The snack pairs one Oreo cookies and cream with one Ritz cracker and peanut butter.
“Over the past few years, RITZ has been exploring innovative partnerships and experience to spark excitement around our most iconic, buttery cracker,” Alexis Yap, RITZ Senior Brand Manager said in a statement. “We couldn’t resist the opportunity to collaborate with our friends at OREO on a snack that’s part salty cracker, part chocolate cookie, and entirely delicious. This is a collab our fans won’t want to miss!”
Those wanting to get a taste of the new salty/sweet treat better move fast though, only 1,000 packs are available.
RITZ X OREO will be available on Thursday, May 26, at 12 p.m. EST and you can go to the website now to sign-up so you receive an email when it goes live.
