Maude Elvy (Sissy) Wilkerson, 93, of Paris passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 at Forest Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 7-8 p.m.
She was born November 1, 1924, in Chicota, Texas a daughter of John Benjamin and Gracie Gertrude Vanderburg Wortham. She married Mac H. Wilkerson on March 16, 1946, in Vernon, Texas. She was a homemaker and a mom and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Chicota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mac; parents, John and Gracie Wortham; son-in-law Mickey Gilliam and a great-great-grandson Oliver Wilkerson.
She is survived by children Rickey Wilkerson and wife Joy, Veronica Gilliam, Penny Coleman, and husband Alvis; 8 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; 7 Great-Great Grandchildren and a sister June Birdwell.
