Four Paris High School juniors were chosen to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) camp.  PHS faculty and counselors recommended Evelyn Brown, Ansley Downs, Jeremy Seals, and Alyssa Tacuyan be interviewed by the selection committee comprised of Rotarians.

The RYLA camp is a two-and-a-half day leadership training program where campers are trained and challenged in the areas of teamwork, trust, problem-solving, communication, planning, decision making, integrity, and self-esteem.

The camp serves Rotary District 5830 which includes northeast Texas and southeast Oklahoma.  Approximately 200 campers attend the camps each year.
