Mathews Auto Group, who has been recognizing teachers at staff at Lamar County schools through its ‘Pay It Forward’ program, is growing and recently recognized employees at Hugo ISD and Honey Grove ISD.
“We had the pleasure of meeting LaSha Cook, the first recipient from Hugo ISD,” said Mathews Auto Group General Manager Tim Anderson. “As employee of the month, Cook was awarded $250 to thank her for what she does on a daily basis for her students.”
At Honey Grove ISD, Amy Neilson and Danielle Davis-Fife were the first recipients of the award and also both received $250.
