Maryles E. Ruthart Taylor, 91, of Paris, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Paris Regional Health.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 23rd at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with burial following in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Taylor, the daughter of Walter Henry Moore and Julia King Moore, was born Aug. 18, 1934, in Lamar County, TX.
She was a member of the Living Word Pentecostal Church. Her career as a caregiver in Dallas spanned 20 years before her retirement.
Maryles was preceded in death by three husbands, Bernard “Jelly” Ruthart, Sr. in 1993, Donald Ray Taylor in 1998, and R. B. Rowland in 2004. Also preceding her in death were two sons, Ricky Rowland and Monty Rowland, a stepdaughter, Frances Ruthart, two stepsons, Bernard Ruthart, Jr. and Sam Ruthart, a grandson, Ricky Rowland, Jr. and all her siblings, Sam Moore, Eunice Lamberth, Lois Little, and Curtis Moore.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Rowland and wife Elaine and Bill Ruthart and wife Mendy, two daughters-in-law, Judy Rowland and Pam Rowland, two stepdaughters, Linda Clark and Sally Faber, grandchildren, Jackie Lewis and husband Tim, Lauron Rudd and husband Chris, Jennifer McBroom and husband Freddie, Laressa Rowland, Monty Rowland Jr. and wife Kari, Mary Duyka and husband Junior, Drew Bush, and Hayden Bush, 16 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Colton Dupuis, Colby Lewis, Paxton Rowland, Cody Duran, Noah Lopez, and Monty Rowland, Jr.
