North Lamar ISD student, Lane Ausmus was recently named the 2024 Jay Hoskins Memorial Scholarship winner.
To obtain this scholarship, students had to write an essay on what it means to sacrifice and serve.
“Thank you to Jay’s family for providing this scholarship opportunity to our students,” said North Lamar ISD online.
United States Marine Sergeant Jay Michael Hoskins was a Class of 2003 alumni.
