On Thursday, April 25th, Detectives with the Lamar County Criminal Investigations Division executed a search warrant in the 3200 block of Margaret St. in Paris Texas.
“Sheriff Detectives located and seized over 2lbs of marijuana, and several grams of THC wax with a combined street value of over $7,000.00 dollars,” said Sheriff Scott Cass.
Detectives also seized a large amount of currency and a firearm.
Arrested on the scene was a 24-year-old male suspect, Jeremiah Alexander Stacy, for possession of marijuana >4oz <=5lbs and possession of controlled substance PG 2 >4G <=400G, both felonies.
Stacy was transported to the Lamar County Jail where he awaits arraignment.
“The good investigative work by Detectives stopped the sale and spread of these narcotics from getting to our streets and in our communities.”
