Cathy C. Jones 66, of Paris, died at 2:10 PM, Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Midway Assembly of God with Rev. Clayton Waggoner and Rev. Matthew Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs funeral home has charge of the arrangements. Burial will be in West Post Oak Cemetery.
Cathy was born Christmas Eve in 1952 to Bennie and Catherine Countryman McFatridge. She attended Chicota Schools and received her Certified Nurses Aid training, but her great joy in life was being a homemaker and mother to her daughter, Rebecca and “Memaw” to numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Mrs. Jones married Roger Dale Jones on Christmas Day of 2000 in Arthur City, Texas. She was a member of Leslie Chapel Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Jones; four children, Rebecca Aguirre and husband, Isau, Kim Rhein and husband, Russell, Dakota Jones, and Ashley Briggs and husband Brandon; six grandchildren, Chelsea Brewer and husband, Caleb, Jessica Margeson and husband, Jeremy, David Aguirre and wife, Madison, Joshua Rhein, Ashton Briggs, and Katie Briggs; three great-grandchildren, Noah Brewer, Emily Brewer, and Eden Margeson; three brothers, Ralph McFatridge and wife, Janice, Richard McFatridge, and Steven McFatridge; six sisters, Rita McFatridge and husband, Ken, Bennie Mae Halford, Dorothy Louise Ball and husband, Nolan, Faye Marie Blackledge, Janie McFatridge, and Susan McFatridge and husband, David; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Jane McFatridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Catherine McFatridge; a daughter, Angela Dawn Farmer; a son, David Farmer, Jr.; and three brothers, W.C., Loveless, and Bennie Ray McFatridge.
Honorary pallbearers are Isau Aguirre, David Aguirre, Ken Taylor, David Bush, Caleb Brewer, and Brian Williams.
