June C. Burdwell, 87, of Sulphur Springs, formerly of Lamar County, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, in Sulphur Springs.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31st, at Forest Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Hyatt officiating.
Mrs. Burdwell, the daughter of John & Grace Vanderburg Wortham, was born June 21, 1931, in Paris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Calvin Burdwell, a grandson, Brandon Smith and all her brothers & sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Smith & husband Christopher of Sulphur Springs, four grandchildren, Dennis, Erica, Beth and Matthew, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews.
