He was blessed with seven grandchildren; Jackson Dale, William Riley, Aaron D’Juan, Madison Grace O’Neal, Matthew Gage, Nathan Blaine, and Aariah Sheree. He is also survived by step-mother, Lola McNeece of American Falls, Idaho, and one sister Betty Hinojosa, Burton, Ms., three brothers, Johnny McNeece, Paris, Tx., Mark McNeece, Longview, Tx. and Charles McNeece of Booneville, Ms., and cousins, nieces and nephews too numerous to mention, but loved none the less.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Fannie Ruth Rushing McNeece, one brother James, two sisters, Wanda and Dianne, and a special aunt, Marilyn Hunt.

George worked at Campbell Soup in Paris, Tx. for 35 years, working in maintenance at the time of retirement. He enjoyed all types of outdoor activity but had a passion for tinkering with old cars. He was often found with his head underneath the hood of a vehicle, and before he left it, the problem would be fixed, if it was fixable. His family will always lovingly remember him as the “fixer-upper”.
