The Honey Grove Library will display a new exhibit this month in honor of Honey Grove’s sesquicentennial anniversary — “Becoming The Sweetest Town In Texas.”
The exhibit will be available to view in the Crockett Room at the library from now until Labor Day.
“This new exhibit highlights the founding of our town, from early settlement until the town charter, with historical documents, pictures and maps, personal accounts, period artifacts, and much more,” said the library.
The sesquicentennial celebration exhibit can be seen on:
Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We would like to thank Myra Rodgers and Barbara Caffee for their time and efforts spent collecting this information and developing such an interesting exhibit to honor Honey Grove’s history.”
