Harold Lloyd Cody 76, of Sumner, died at 9:26 PM, Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at his daughter’s home. Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Tigertown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time prior to the funeral on Tuesday. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Harold was born June 5, 1941 in Fort Towson, Oklahoma to James Rufus and Katie Lain Cody. He graduated from high school in 1959 and married Doris Ruth Woodard on July 27, 1963 in Irving, Texas. She died July 19, 2017. Together, Harold and Doris owned and operated Quality Craft Picture Framing. He was a member of Paris Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen L. Cobb and husband, Manning and Sue Graham; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Clarence and Kenneth Cody. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patsy Chambers; his parents; his sister, Bonnie Clifton; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tim Cobb, Aaron Cobb, Zach Cobb, Joseph Macaluso, Ryan Macaluso, Justin Dyer, Leldon Teeter, and Mike Slover.
