Mark your calendars for the grand re-opening of the Family Fun Center, formerly Skate Zone, being held Friday, April 5th.

Local businessman, Skyler Burchinal recently purchased the property and is currently revamping the entire complex just in time for summer.

“We’re very excited about re-opening the entire complex and being able to once again offer families in Lamar County a family-friendly place to make memories,” said Burchinal.

Burchinal said the entire complex has been re-painted, there is a new waterfall system in the mini golf area, new putters, updated batting equipment and more.

In addition to the grand re-opening, the Family Fun Center has opened registration for their summer program, ‘Epic Fun Academy’ starting May.

“Children ages 5 – 12 will be able to enjoy skating, putt-putt, go-karts, batting cages, and arcade games all summer long.”

Registration packets will be available at 1301 NW Loop 286 or call 903-706-5088 for more information.

“Our main goal is to offer a safe, family-friendly fun park to everyone in Lamar County and surrounding areas,” said Burchinal. “We will be open to the public every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night and will always have security on-site to keep everyone safe.”
