Lamar County Precinct 4 Constable, Aaron Hunter Sanders, was arrested on Aug. 1 for Terroristic Threat against a Peace Officer/Judge.
A terroristic threat warrant was obtained after a report was taken by Deputies that Sanders had verbally threatened violence to a Lamar County Justice of the Peace and his family.
The terroristic threat warrant, a state jail felony, was issued on this date and served by the Texas Department of Public Safety Ranger Division and Deputies with the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office.
Sanders was taken into custody without incident and placed in the Lamar County Jail.
Sanders was arraigned and a bond of 100,000 thousand dollars has been set.
